Jubilee Celebrations at Orton
It was good to welcome visitors to Chapel to view the display inside the Sunday School Room, reflecting the life of the Chapel over the last 70 years during the Queen’s reign. We had a range of people including those with connections in the past ie. Weddings, Christenings, Sunday School etc.
We also had a visit from the latest couple to be married at Orton and were introduced to their daughter Isabella. Many were interested to see inside Chapel, a recurring comment was how calm it felt. We trust God will bless those memories and encourage us to go on with his guidance to make more!

Almighty and Gracious God
70 years ago, a young woman, Elizabeth, made a commitment to serve you Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour in the role of Queen to which you called her.
We thank you that, through all the changes in public life and her personal life, she has remained faithful to you and to her commitment. Gracious God we also thank you for your guidance and blessing on her throughout her reign.
As we celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee this week, may we be inspired by her humble service. May we also hear your voice, respond to your call, seek your guidance and remain faithful as we journey on the pilgrimage of life with you.
Bless us, Lord, and Bless our Queen her family and government.
