Dear God, as we come to the end of October and to a date when darkness is often celebrated, we pray for your light. Shine across our world and lead people to you this Halloween. We pray that people will turn away from evil, from witchcraft, from new-age activities, from darkness. Please show your light and your glory to them. Help us to fight against the work of the devil, please equip us and strengthen us. We pray for churches across the country who are holding events to celebrate your light this Halloween. Please bless all those involved in this work. We pray for our communities, please help us to be a light to those around us.
