Last Saturday the hall at Kirkby Stephen Methodist Church was full of ladies & 3 men checking boxes to be sent to Romania through the Cumbrian charity Boxes of Hope. 1116 boxes will be taken to a central depot to be loaded for their journey through Europe. The boxes were donated by individuals as well as local churches, schools and clubs. More than 100 arrived from a Baptist Church in Sunderland.
