The Upper Eden Foodbank has now been running for four years. It has representatives from both Methodists and Anglicans on the Management Committee. The foodbank supplies food parcels to needy individuals and families within the Kirkby Stephen, Appleby and Tebay areas, extending to Penrith.​

There are food collection points on a weekly basis at The Sands Appleby (Tuesdays and Fridays 10-10:30am) as well as donations from other churches, organisations and individuals throughout the area.  The local Co-op have been long term supporters. We are so grateful for all the people who volunteer with the weekly collections and all the people and organisations who so faithfully and regularly support the food bank.
